For over a year, Arlington residents worked together to build a big base of support in our town for Elizabeth Warren, one voter at a time. With house parties, phone banks, canvasses and more, we talked to thousands of Arlington supporters. Then on Election Day in 2012, powered by about 400 volunteers, we made sure they came out to vote. And did they ever - 17,510 of them! Repeated across Massachusetts, this phenomenal turnout gave Elizabeth the margin she needed to win. To all who voted, talked to their neighbors about Elizabeth, gave money to her campaign, and volunteered: Thank you! |
